A stylish guild name is your guild or clan title rewritten with Unicode characters and wrapped in symbols. Typing ELITE returns 𝓔𝓛𝓘𝓣𝓔 or ꧁༒☬𝕰𝕷𝕴𝕿𝕰☬༒꧂. The characters are text rather than a font the game installs, which is why a decorated guild name renders for every member.

The same characters work across Free Fire guilds, BGMI and PUBG Mobile clans, and Discord servers. One name built here can carry across all three.

02 Limits

Why this page does not print a guild character limit

Published guild limits contradict each other, so we do not state one. Free Fire guild names are variously reported as 3, 12, 14 and 20 characters across different sites, and none of those figures traces back to Garena's own material.

What is verifiable is the nickname limit each game enforces: Free Fire caps a nickname at 12 and BGMI and PUBG Mobile allow 14. Guild fields are a separate field with their own cap, which is why a name that fits your nickname is not automatically a name that fits your guild.

Trust the rename screen. The counter above tells you exactly how long each style is, so you can compare options — then paste into the game and let the field accept or refuse it. That is the only source that is never out of date.

How to change a guild name

To change your guild or clan name to a stylish one:

  1. 1 Build the name. Type your guild name above and copy a style. Keep it short — guild lists render at a small size.
  2. 2 Open guild settings. Only the guild leader can rename a guild, so sign in on the leader account first.
  3. 3 Paste and check it. Paste the name, then look at how it appears in the guild list before confirming. The field is the only reliable check.

Only the leader can rename a guild. That is the guild leader in Free Fire, the clan leader in BGMI and PUBG Mobile, and a member with Manage Server permission on Discord. A member cannot do it, however senior.

04 Tags

The clan tag is not the guild name

The name is the guild's full title; the tag is the short prefix beside every member's nickname. They are different fields with different lengths, and the tag is by far the tighter of the two.

That difference should change how you style each one. A gate can frame a guild name on the guild page, but the same gate on a tag spends characters your members need for their own names — and the tag is rendered small, next to a nickname, where heavy decoration turns into noise.

Give members a short plain tag and keep the decoration for the guild name itself. The tag is read hundreds of times a match; the name is read once.

06 Troubleshooting

Why a guild name is refused or looks wrong

A refusal is usually length or a name already in use. Guild names are unique within a game, and the field caps length without always saying by how much — shorten the base word before you drop the style.

Two display problems have different causes. A name that looks right on the guild page but cramped in the member list is being truncated by that smaller view, not corrupted. Boxes (☐) mean a member's device has no glyph for that character, and cursive, gothic and small caps are the sets least likely to cause it.
